A Guide to Physician Ratings and Reviews

Choosing the right doctor can be a challenging task. We understand the importance of finding a physician who meets your unique needs. That's why we provide comprehensive profiles that highlight physician specialties, medical experience and research. Plus, we offer another invaluable resource — genuine ratings and reviews from real patients.

Trustworthy ratings without bias

To present the most reliable ratings possible, we collaborate with Ratings.MD.

• Our ratings represent the average responses from UF Health patients who have participated in a patient satisfaction survey within the past two years.
• Ratings are presented on a five-star scale, with five being the highest rating.
• Ratings are displayed only when there are at least 30 completed surveys for a doctor.
• Some physicians, such as those working in urgent care, hospitals or anesthesia, may not have ratings.

Genuine patient reviews

In addition to star ratings, you can read patient reviews taken directly from the surveys.

• To protect confidentiality, patient names are never displayed.
• Reviews are not edited, and include both positive and negative feedback.
• We do eliminate reviews that include profanity, are unrelated to the provider or violate patient privacy.
