TD Charitable Foundation Supports Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital with Donation

The TD Charitable Foundation, the charitable giving arm of TD Bank, America’s Most Convenient Bank®, recently donated a total of $20,000 to Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals at UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital as part of the foundation’s commitment to giving back to the community.

Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals is an international nonprofit organization dedicated to raising funds and awareness for local children’s hospitals. For UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital, this means caring for more than 100,000 sick and injured kids each year. Families come to UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital from across the country and throughout the state seeking treatment for broken bones, childhood cancer, complex heart disease, and dozens of other ailments. Thanks to the generous support of TD Charitable Foundation, UF Health Shands Children’s Hospital can ensure that their young patients receive the highest-quality care possible. The funds from the TD Charitable Foundation will be used to purchase life-saving equipment of the hospital’s most immediate need, provide programs and services with meaningful impact, and conduct transformative research.

“We rely on the generous support of community leaders like TD Charitable Foundation to continue the mission of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals, which is to help local kids and their families while in our care. We have furthered advancements in research, invested in life-saving equipment, and provided a wide range of services to those in need of specialized treatment. Thank you for making this possible,” said Scott A. Rivkees, M.D., Nemours Eminent Scholar, Professor and Chair of the UF College of Medicine’s Department of Pediatrics.
