About me
I'm Charleen Stubbington, a physical therapist at UF Health. My journey in the field of physical therapy began with a bachelor of science in exercise sports science with a specialization in athletic training from the University of Florida. Later, I pursued a master's in physical therapy from the same institution, followed by a transitional doctorate of physical therapy from the University of Montana.
Driven by my own personal experience with injury and aging, I developed a specialization in bike fit, particularly focusing on the needs of the aging athlete. This specialization, along with my bike physical therapy gold level certification, enables me to better serve individuals seeking to maintain an active lifestyle despite physical challenges.
My own journey with various injuries has instilled in me a deep empathy for others facing similar challenges. I understand that each patient's healing process is unique, and I am committed to providing personalized care tailored to individual needs. I strive to create a positive and fun environment where patients can feel supported and motivated throughout their rehabilitation journey.
Outside of my professional life, I find joy in spending time with my family, including my husband and two sons. I am passionate about cycling and enjoy exploring the outdoors whenever I can.
