Biography
Christopher E. Bayne, MD is board-certified by the American Board of Urology with subspecialty certification in pediatric urology. He earned his medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia. Dr. Bayne completed a residency in urology at The George Washington University and completed his fellowship in pediatric urology at Children’s National Health System in Washington, D.C. in 2018. At UF Health, Dr. Bayne serves as a pediatric urologist and as an assistant professor in the department of urology.
Dr. Bayne’s clinical interests include adolescent and transitional urology, minimally invasive and robotic surgeries, kidney stones, and upper urinary tract and ureteral anomalies. He has published several manuscripts in urological and pediatric publications, including Journal of Pediatrics, Journal of Urology, and Journal of Pediatric Urology.
Dr. Bayne is an member of Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society, the American Urological Association, Phi Beta Kappa, and the Society of Pediatric Urology. He serves as an academic ad-hoc peer reviewer for urology and pediatric scientific journals.
