My bio
As a pediatric physical therapist at UF Health, my leading clinical interests include early intervention and family-centered, play-based approaches; infant and toddler development at the neuromuscular level; dysautonomia and related conditions; and torticollis.
My journey to becoming a physical therapist began with a love for children. This has been paired with a deep interest in medicine, fitness and inclusion of all abilities. Pediatric physical therapy has given me an outlet to provide kids and their families with a newfound sense of hope.
Though I specialize in early intervention for children under 3, I enjoy providing services to children of all ages and diagnoses. I have a passion for helping families reach their fullest potential through a family-centered approach, working with little ones to maximize function within the home and the child’s natural environment.
After experiencing infant feeding difficulties with my son, I gained greater empathy for parents whose children face medical challenges. Through the support of my son’s medical team, he overcame his hurdles, and I strive to give other families that same hope. I collaborate with my patients to set realistic goals and optimize functional outcomes.
Beyond physical therapy, I enjoy quality time with my family. I like finding good coffee shops and restaurants, completing home improvement projects and spending time outdoors.
