My bio

My name is Anahi Sustaita and I'm a Speech-Language Pathologist at UF Health, where I work with children experiencing language delays and disorders, pediatric dysphagia and autism. I earned my bachelor’s degree in communication science and disorders from Florida State University and went on to complete my master’s degree in the same field at the University of Florida.

My passion for this work began after seeing the positive impact a skilled speech-language pathologist had on my brother, who experienced language delays. That experience inspired me to support families, especially those who may feel that language services aren’t accessible to them because they speak a different language at home. More specifically, I have a special interest in bilingual language development and early intervention. I aim to empower both children and their families by building skills and sharing strategies they can confidently use at home.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading, cooking and crafting. I also speak both English and Spanish!
