“ I was very disappointed with my recent provider experience. When she entered the room, she did not introduce herself and immediately began asking questions without any greeting or rapport-building. The interaction felt rushed and impersonal from the start. During the visit, I was told I would need to return for a Pap smear because I was on my period. When I asked, “Oh, you’re unable to do that now?” she laughed and simply said no. The response felt dismissive and unprofessional. She also asked several questions about information that is already documented in my chart, which made it seem as though she had not reviewed my file beforehand. The physical exam felt extremely rushed — after a very brief look in my ears and checking vitals, she stated that everything was fine and said, “Exit is up to your left,” without any closing remarks or even a goodbye. Overall, the appointment felt impersonal, rushed, and lacking basic courtesy. I did not feel heard or cared for as a patient. I hope this feedback is taken seriously so future patients receive a more professional and compassionate experience. ”
