My bio
Hi, my name is Dr. Anna Abbott and I am a general pediatrician at UF Health Pediatrics in Ocala. I grew up in Michigan and earned both my undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Michigan before completing my pediatric residency at the University of Florida.
I was drawn to pediatrics because it combines the joy of working with children with the opportunity to build long-term, meaningful relationships with families. I’m especially passionate about supporting families throughout childhood, from birth through adolescence.
My clinical interests include preventive care, developmental screening, newborn medicine, breastfeeding support, and office-based procedures. I strive to provide thoughtful, evidence-based care in a supportive environment where families feel heard and empowered.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our energetic puppy Shadow and our backyard chickens. I also love discovering good food, exploring local coffee shops and soaking up the Florida sun.
