About me
Hello, I'm Antonio Garcia, an occupational therapist at UF Health. I earned my masters of health science in occupational therapy from the University of Florida.
With a deep-rooted passion for holistic healthcare and a commitment to improving lives through the transformative power of occupational therapy, I decided to pursue occupational therapy. I believe in addressing the interconnectedness of mind, body and spirit to create a healing environment.
As an occupational therapist, I specialize in mental health, oncology and the psychosocial aspects of long covid. I find immense satisfaction in understanding and addressing the changes in roles, habits and values associated with mental health conditions. Incorporating Tai-Chi into the therapy process allows me to explore innovative ways to enhance the well-being of those I work with.
Outside of my professional endeavors, I'm a family man who enjoys attending all Gator athletic events with my loved ones. Additionally, I'm a self-professed golf nut, aiming to hit the greens every weekend!
