Hello, I'm Brent Williams, a physical therapist at UF Health, specializing in the treatment of knee and shoulder surgical and non-surgical diagnoses. I obtained my Bachelor of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Central Florida. In addition to my formal education, I hold several additional certifications, including certified strength and conditioning specialist (NSCA), credentialed clinical instructor (APTA) and certified sportsmetrics instructor (Cincinnati Sports Medicine).
With over 30 years of combined experience as both a player and coach in baseball, spanning every level and age from tee ball through high school, I bring a unique perspective to my practice. This extensive background allows me to understand, relate to and effectively meet the needs of youth athletes.
My expertise lies in the comprehensive evaluation, rehabilitation, injury prevention and customized return-to-play strategies for baseball and softball athletes. I am deeply committed to helping my patients recover from injuries, enhance their performance and achieve their athletic goals.
