My bio
My name is Brittany Ergle, and I’m a registered nurse at UF Health. My educational journey began at the University of Florida, where I received my bachelor’s in family, youth, and community sciences. I then received my associate in nursing from Santa Fe College.
My professional focus includes diabetes education, burns, cardiac arrest, heart transplant, myocarditis, port care, and vaccines. With my specialties in cardiac care and pediatrics, I’m passionate about connecting patients with interdisciplinary teams to ensure they receive the best possible care.
I strive to guide my patients through tough times by educating them about their conditions and connecting them with valuable resources. I’m inspired by the all hands-on deck mentality I’ve seen in healthcare, and I’m committed to advocating for my patients every step of the way.
Outside of work, I enjoy golfing, listening to audiobooks, freshwater fishing, cooking, and traveling—I’ve visited 16 countries! I’m also a new mom and am currently furthering my education to grow in my nursing career. One of my favorite quotes by Audrey Hepburn keeps me motivated: “Nothing is impossible; the word itself says ‘I’m possible.’”
