Cassie L Robertson, APRN : Bio and credentials

My name is Cassie Robertson and I am a Lactation Specialist here at UF Health. Breastfeeding is a unique (and sometimes challenging) experience for everyone. As a lactation specialist, I make it my goal to educate others on the benefits of breastfeeding and fostering a community of support for breastfeeding women. My goal is to support Mom and baby throughout their breastfeeding journey from start to finish by providing them with the tools, resources, and support they need to be successful. With a strong passion for education, I make it my goal to reach all mothers who wish to breastfeed with the knowledge and support they need to reach their goals.

Being a breastfeeding mother myself, I strive to treat each patient the way I would want to be treated during such a monumental time. I make it my mission to use my skillset as a Nurse Practitioner, as well as my own experiences to approach each and every lactation consultation with compassion and empathy as I help other mothers reach their breastfeeding goals.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family, being outdoors, being involved in my church, baking, boating, and traveling.
