Clifton C Tein, PTA

Hey there! I'm Clifton Tein, and I'm a physical therapy assistant at UF Health. I hold an associates of applied science in physical therapy assistance from Morton College. Additionally, I'm a certified weightlifting coach through Clinical Athlete, certified in vestibular rehabilitation through the American Institute of Balance and I've completed the American Physical Therapy Association's recognition program of advanced proficiency in orthopaedics.

My areas of expertise include sports, orthopaedics, vestibular rehabilitation, movement disorders and pelvic health. I have particular interest with populations encompassing running medicine, strength athletes and tactical athletes.

My journey into this field began with me being a patient myself. Years of active participation in athletics left me with various injuries from a young age. Physical therapy became my guiding light, educating and rehabilitating me back to health and allowing me to return to the sports I love. My personal experience with physical therapy sparked a deep-seated desire to help others reach their goals and unlock their full potential. Passion drives my practice and patient care. My goal is to continually incorporate the most effective research, modalities, techniques and equipment to maximize patient recovery and ensure the highest quality of care.

Outside of work, I lead a dynamic lifestyle filled with activities such as weightlifting, running, biking, swimming, cross-training, rock climbing, soccer, football, scuba diving, dog training and more. I'm also an avid reader and musician, enjoying playing the keyboard, ukulele and guitar. Volunteering in the community is another important aspect of my life. Additionally, I am also fluent in Mandarin!
