About me
My name is Collin Groves, and I am an occupational therapist specializing in hand therapy at UF Health. I earned my bachelor's degree in sports medicine from the University of Wisconsin, and my doctor of occupational therapy from the University of Florida. My passion for this field stems from a deep interest in anatomy and biomechanics, a love for physical fitness and mental well-being, and a strong desire to help individuals regain function and return to their valued occupations, hobbies and activities.
I focus on manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, home exercise program development, orthosis fabrication and tendon repair. I also have a special interest in shoulder dysfunction, tendon and ligament repairs, manual therapy, and exercise science, all of which help me provide the best possible care for my patients.
My goal is to restore function and improve the quality of life for patients with upper extremity dysfunction. As a holistic provider, I care deeply about my patients' goals, interests and the journey that leads them to recovery.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my family, including my wife, Molly, and our sons, Patrick and Thomas. My favorite hobbies include weightlifting, exercise and fishing.
