Hear how I pronounce my name

My name is Courtney Belhart, and I am a family medicine nurse practitioner at UF Health Family Medicine – Haile Plantation. My role as a family medicine provider is to work with my patients to help promote health and wellness in their everyday lives, and, toward that end, to facilitate shared decision-making to find care solutions that align with patients’ values and beliefs.

I earned my doctorate of nursing practice and bachelor of science in nursing from the University of Florida College of Nursing, and I have extensive experience as a critical care nurse in hospital intensive care units. Working in the cardiac and surgical ICUs inspired me to pursue family medicine as a way to prevent and manage chronic conditions before they lead to health crises that require hospitalization.

I am dedicated to multidisciplinary collaboration to improve treatment approaches for people living with HIV and general improvements to patient care.

During my time away from work, I enjoy hiking, being in nature, and reading.
