“ I went for my first Dexa Scan and was told I would get the results whenever the doctor could read the scans. My scans showed up in my chart a couple of days later. I looked at them and could tell I had osteoporosis, but did not hear from the doctor until a week later, in an online letter, telling me I have severe osteoporosis and I should follow up with my PCP and my oncologist. This is not the way UF usually does things, and I was disappointed in the experience. ”
