My bio
My name is Dalton Reed, and I am a physical therapist at UF Health. I earned my bachelor’s degree in health science education from the University of Florida in 1994, followed by a master of physical therapy from Nova Southeastern University in 1999. Throughout my career, I have primarily worked in outpatient orthopaedics and sports medicine, where I have had the privilege of learning from and collaborating with exceptional therapists at UF Health.
I was inspired to pursue physical therapy by one of my college roommates, who was majoring in the field at UF. My goal as a physical therapist is to educate each patient with the knowledge and tools they need to manage and overcome their physical challenges. Having undergone low back surgery in 2016, I personally understand the fears and concerns that come with returning to prior activity levels, and I strive to support my patients through that process.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my kids, working out, playing the guitar, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking and attending any Gator sporting event.
