My bio
I’m a board-certified pediatric cardiologist at the University of Florida Health Congenital Heart Center, where my primary goal is to serve my community by educating patients and their families, helping them feel safe and supported.
My clinical interests include noninvasive imaging, such as fetal and transesophageal echocardiography, as well as exercise physiology and general cardiology.
I began my medical education at Rutgers University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in chemistry and applied chemistry. I then continued my studies in Romania, earning my medical degree from Carol Davila University of Medicine and Pharmacy. Afterward, I returned to New Jersey to complete my pediatric residency, then moved to Florida for my pediatric cardiology fellowship.
I am a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics, the American Medical Association, the American College of Cardiology and the American Society of Echocardiography. I have also participated in numerous research projects and presentations focusing on cardiomyopathies, cyanotic heart disease and congenital heart disease.
