I am a radiation oncologist dedicated to providing compassionate, individualized cancer care with a focus on breast and gynecologic cancers. I am also an assistant professor within the University of Florida College of Medicine. My patient approach centers on clear communication, collaboration and supporting patients through every step of their cancer journey.

I earned my medical degree from Universidad Anáhuac México Norte in Mexico City and completed a preliminary year in general surgery at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami. I completed my residency in radiation oncology at the University of Miami and Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center at Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Throughout my training and clinical practice, I have focused on treating breast, cervical, uterine and ovarian cancers using advanced radiation techniques designed to precisely target tumors while minimizing side effects. My goal throughout treatment is preserving and maintaining quality of life, while tailoring care plans to each patient’s unique needs and goals.

I believe listening is essential to being an effective physician. A cancer diagnosis can be overwhelming, and I strive to create a supportive environment where patients feel heard, informed and empowered. I work closely with surgeons, medical oncologists and other specialists to ensure coordinated, evidence-based care.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy traveling and experiencing different cultures. I also have a strong interest in cinema, fashion, interior design, reading fiction and writing poetry. Spending time with my family and friends outside of practice helps me maintain both balance and perspective in my personal and professional lives.
