My bio
My name is Danielle Kassab, and I am a speech-language pathologist at University of Florida Health. I earned my Bachelor of Health Science in communication sciences and disorders from UF and completed my Master of Science in speech-language pathology at the University of South Florida.
My clinical interests include early intervention, phonological disorders, feeding disorders, fluency disorders[TE1.1], and augmentative and alternative communication. I am passionate about using child-led, engaging activities to help children reach their communication goals in meaningful and motivating ways.
One thing my patients and their families should know about me is that I highly value family involvement and education. I believe that collaboration with caregivers is essential for success, and I strive to create a supportive environment where families feel informed, confident and engaged in their child's progress. I am also committed to lifelong learning and seek opportunities to expand my knowledge through current research and continuing education.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, reading, being with family and friends,[TE2.1] and cheering on the Gators at sporting events.
