My bio
Hello, I'm Donna Wolcott, a physical therapist at UF Health. My journey in this field began at the University of Florida, where I earned my bachelor's degree in physical therapy. Since then, I've dedicated myself to improving the lives of children through my work.
I am a board-certified pediatric clinical specialist recognized by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties. My current focus revolves around enhancing functional mobility and motor skills for children facing challenges such as autism spectrum disorder, developmental coordination disorder, gross motor delay and other neurodevelopmental diagnoses.
The driving force behind my career choice is the desire to assist children in safely navigating their environments and engaging in activities with their loved ones. I firmly believe in working closely with children and their families to identify meaningful functional goals that enhance their daily lives. Moreover, I am committed to helping children develop the motor skills necessary to participate in activities that promote the benefits of exercise for a healthy lifestyle.
Outside of my professional life, I find solace in gardening, cheering for Florida football and embracing the tranquility of walking and kayaking.
