My bio
Hey there, I'm Douglas Wilkinson, a physical therapist at UF Health, specializing in orthopaedics. I earned my bachelor of science in physical therapy from the University of Florida and a bachelor's degree in biology from Shepherd University.
I'm passionate about advancing my expertise in orthopaedic care, which is why I pursued certifications such as orthopaedic certified manual physical therapist through the Florida Institute of Manual Physical Therapy, certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA) and Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) Level 2 Medical and Level 2 Power Certification.
My clinical interests encompass a wide range of orthopaedic issues, including neck pain, shoulder pain, lower back/hip pain, knee pain, foot and ankle pain and the myofascial components related to orthopaedics.
I'm committed to providing personalized and effective care to help my patients overcome their orthopaedic challenges and achieve their goals for a healthier and more active life.
