My bio
My name is Drew Monteau, and I am a physical therapist at UF Health specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. I earned my doctor of physical therapy from the University of Florida in 2022. Before transitioning to outpatient care, I worked as an acute care physical therapist at UF Health Shands.
My interest in physical therapy began in high school when I was a cross-country athlete and suffered an injury that required rehabilitation. The expertise and support of my physical therapy team helped me recover, inspiring me to pursue a career in healthcare. I value the time I spend with each patient, helping them regain function and confidence. My goal is to provide personalized care that aligns with each patient’s individual needs while educating them about their rehabilitation process.
In my free time, I enjoy exploring the Florida outdoors through hiking and kayaking. I also love playing sports such as tennis, basketball, and soccer, reading and spending time with my wife.
