My bio

My name is Elizabeth Tortolini Palmer, MA, CCC-SLP, and I am a speech-language pathologist at UF Health. I earned my Bachelor of Health Science in Communication Sciences and Disorders and my Master of Arts in Speech-Language Pathology, both from the University of Florida. My clinical interests include movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, dysphagia and dysarthria.

I was first introduced to the field of speech-language pathology during a presentation in one of my undergraduate classes as a freshman at UF. Before that moment, I had never heard of the profession, but by the end of the presentation, I knew it was exactly what I wanted to do for the rest of my life. I walked straight to my advisor’s office and changed my major that same day.

I prioritize a research-driven and interdisciplinary approach to patient care, tailoring treatment to each individual’s needs. I am committed to continuously growing in my knowledge and expertise to provide the best possible care for my patients.
