About me
I am a proud, certified occupational therapy assistant who has practiced since 2019, with a background in pediatric outpatient rehabilitation. I am passionate about helping children develop the skills, confidence and independence they need to thrive in everyday life.
My areas of interest include sensory processing, emotional regulation, fine and visual-motor development, functional play, activities of daily living, sensory and oral-motor feeding, and behavior. I use individualized, play-based interventions that incorporate each child’s strengths, interests and unique needs to make therapy both meaningful and functional.
In addition to my occupational therapy background, I am a registered behavior technician (RBT) through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB). This experience has given me additional skills in supporting children with behavioral and developmental challenges. I value collaboration with families and other professionals and believe in taking a whole-child approach to therapy. This means not only addressing areas of dysfunction but also identifying underlying factors, such as primitive reflexes, airway health, nutrition and restorative sleep.
Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my twins, attending fitness classes and listening to true crime podcasts.
