About me
My name is Haley Esperanza, and I am an occupational therapist at UF Health Rehab Center for Kids – Magnolia Parke. I earned both my Bachelor of Health Science and Doctor of Occupational Therapy degrees from the University of Florida.
I specialize in pediatric occupational therapy, working with children on fine motor skills, developmental delays, sensory processing, reflex integration and self-regulation. I discovered my passion for this field while shadowing a therapist at an outpatient pediatric clinic. Witnessing the ways occupational therapists empower children and support their independence inspired me to pursue this career path.
My goal is to make therapy engaging and effective by thinking creatively and critically to meet each child’s unique needs. I’m passionate about using occupational therapy to create meaningful, lasting change in children’s daily lives. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, practicing yoga, traveling, and spending time with family and friends!
