My bio

Hello, my name is Haneen Mallah, MD, and I am a fellow in the University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine.

My postgraduate trainings started as an intern at the Palestinian Ministry of Health Facilities in Nablus. I then became an internal medicine resident at An-Najah National University Hospital, also in Nablus. Later, I attended Texas Tech University Health Science Center for another internal medicine residency. Currently, I am participating in my pulmonary critical care fellowship at the University of Florida.

Some of my clinical and procedural skills include advanced ventilator management, ICU procedures, bedside ultrasound and echocardiography in critically ill patients, bronchoscopy, endobronchial ultrasound, PleurX™ catheter and pre-lung transplant evaluation.

I also belong to many affiliations such as the American College of Chest physicians (CHEST), Southern Society for Clinical Investigation (SSCI), American College of Physicians (ACP), American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM), Florida State License, Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) and International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA). I’m also BLS/ACLS certified.
