My bio

My name is Isaac Luria, MD, and I am an assistant professor in the UF Department of Anesthesiology. I joined the department in the Division of Acute Pain Medicine in 2021. I earned my BS in physics, MS in materials science and engineering, and medical degree all here at the University of Florida. I also completed my anesthesiology residency and acute and perioperative pain medicine fellowship here.

I’ve participated in several projects here at UF Health, such as leading the production of education videos for patients and helping to build simulation equipment. After completing my master’s degree and before attending medical school, I worked as a simulation engineer in the UF Department of Anesthesiology. This gave me the opportunity to collaborate with medical colleagues of all specialties and assist with applied research projects.

In my free time, I enjoy hiking and kayaking on the local rivers and springs.
