My bio
Dr. Jade Walter is the Medical Director of the Pediatric Care Coordination Program and the Craniofacial Center in the Department of Pediatrics at the University of Florida. She earned her medical degree from Nova Southeastern University and completed her pediatric residency at the University of South Florida.
Dr. Walter is passionate about caring for children with complex medical needs and supporting families as they navigate the healthcare system. She believes in building strong, trusting relationships with families and creating care plans that reflect their values and goals.
With a background in volunteer work and global health, Dr. Walter brings a broad and empathetic perspective to her practice. She is deeply committed to using her voice as a pediatrician to advocate for the needs of children. She has been recognized for her advocacy work through leadership roles with the Florida Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics and as a recipient of the Gold Humanism Award, which honors a commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
