My bio

I am an American Board of Internal Medicine–certified physician with more than three decades of experience providing comprehensive primary care to adult patients. My career has included practice with university-affiliated medical groups in Davis, California, and Tucson, Arizona, where I managed my own patient panels while also serving as a teaching attending physician for medical students and resident physicians. I later spent many years with The Permanente Medical Group in Vallejo, California, delivering outpatient internal medicine care to a diverse patient population, supporting same-day and urgent care access, leading hypertension control initiatives, supervising exercise treadmill testing, and providing telemedicine services.

In October 2025, I relocated to Gainesville to be closer to family and joined the UF Health Department of Internal Medicine, where I continue to manage a panel of internal medicine patients. I earned my medical degree from the University of California, San Diego, completed my internal medicine residency at UC Davis Medical Center, and hold a bachelor’s degree in psychobiology from UCLA. I enjoy partnering with patients by providing clear information and guidance to support long-term health and wellness. Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family, traveling, and cheering on the Gators.
