Jeremy grew up in Delaware, Ohio, which is a small farm town just north of Columbus. In 2002, he received a BS degree in Biology from Wright State University and worked in cancer research. He then transitioned to the clinical environment as a hospital based EMT at the Scripps Mercy Hospital Emergency Department in San Diego, California and eventually moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where he lived and worked for six years. In 2011, Jeremy and his wife moved to Gainesville. Jeremy received his Associates of Nursing from Santa Fe College in 2015 and his BSN from the University of Florida in 2019. He began working for Shands Hospital shortly after moving here and worked as a nurse in the cardiac ICU, psychiatric nurse in the medsurg/psych unit, and as a psychiatric nurse at UF Health Psychiatric Hospital. In 2019 he transitioned to UF Student Health Psychiatry as a nurse. Jeremy received his Doctor of Nursing Practice - Psychatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from the University of Florida in 2023 and began practicing at UF Student Health Psychiatry. He currently works at Archer Family Health Care Clinic as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. Jeremy lives in Gainesville with his wife and 3 children and enjoys motorsports, kayaking, and mountain biking.
