Jerlinda Ross
Obstetrician / Gynecologist (OBGYN), Gynecologic Oncologist (Gynecological Cancer Specialist)
My bio
I am Dr. Jerlinda Ross, a gynecologic oncologist dedicated to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for women with gynecologic cancers. My goal is to partner with each patient and their family throughout their health journey, helping them understand their diagnosis and treatment options while developing a personalized care plan that meets their unique needs.
I earned my medical degree from Duke University School of Medicine and completed my residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Indiana University School of Medicine. Then, I completed a fellowship in gynecologic oncology at the University of Chicago Pritzker School of Medicine. In addition to my medical training, I earned a Master of Science in genetic epidemiology and biostatistics from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master of Business Administration in strategy and health sector management from Duke University's Fuqua School of Business.
Throughout my career, I have cared for patients in both academic medical centers and community settings. I am especially passionate about improving access to high-quality cancer care and addressing factors that contribute to differences in health outcomes among communities. My work has included developing cancer care programs in underserved areas, advancing HPV vaccination and cancer prevention efforts, and conducting research focused on cancer disparities, survivorship and access to care.
I believe excellent cancer care goes beyond treating a disease. It means listening to patients and understanding the challenges they may face. It also means working together to provide compassionate, equitable care centered on what matters most to them. I am honored to care for patients during what can be one of the most difficult times in their lives, and I am committed to helping each person feel informed, supported and empowered throughout their journey.
