About me
Hi, my name is Jessica Limbaugh, and I am a nurse practitioner. I come from a large Puerto Rican family and grew up in South Florida before moving to Gainesville in 2009. Most of my RN career was spent in surgical ICU caring for post-op and transplant patients. After spending years in critical care, I wanted to take part in preventative care. I enjoy taking the time to educate patients in hopes of reducing chronic health problems and co-morbidities. I want to help prevent some of the conditions leading to the need for organ transplants.
I would like my patients to know that I care about them and value their time. I will take the time to listen to their concerns and help guide them on their health and medical journeys. My areas of expertise are in cardiovascular disease, diabetes mellitus, hypertension, preventative care and women’s health.
Outside of work, I like to surround myself with family and friends. I have been married for 13 years and have 3 incredible children. Most evenings, I can be found at a baseball or softball game for my kids. My husband and I also lead the youth ministry at our church.
