Jessica Martinolich, MD

I believe every patient deserves compassionate, personalized care. As a Clinical Associate Professor at University of Florida Health, my goals is to help patients feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout every stage of their treatment. I take the time to listen to patient’s concerns, answer questions and explain treatment options in a clear, easy-to-understand way so patients can feel confident throughout their healthcare journey.

I graduated magna cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Biology and earned my medical degree from Albany Medical College. Then, I completed my fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital of Cook County in Chicago after finishing my general surgery residency at Albany Medical Center with Alpha Omega Alpha Distinction.

In addition to caring for patients, I am actively involved in research focused on improving surgical outcomes for patients with colorectal disease and cancer. My work has been presented at national surgical and medical conferences across the country and published in leading peer-reviewed medical journals.

I am also a proud member of several professional organizations, including the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons. I have served on committees dedicated to advancing cancer care, pelvic floor disorders, and surgical quality improvement. These roles allow me to contribute to the ongoing advancement of surgical care and improve outcomes for patients.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy teaching and mentoring future surgeons, as well as working with teams dedicated to improving patient outcomes and experience with the medical system.
