About me

I believe every patient deserves compassionate, personalized care. As a Clinical Associate Professor at University of Florida Health, my goal is to help patients feel comfortable, informed and supported throughout their treatment. I take time to listen to concerns, answer questions and explain treatment options in a clear, easy-to-understand way so patients can feel confident in their care.

I graduated magna cum laude from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in biology and earned my medical degree from Albany Medical College. Then, I completed my fellowship training in colon and rectal surgery at John H. In addition to caring for patients, I am involved in research focused on improving outcomes for people with colorectal disease and cancer. My work has been published in national medical journals, and I have presented research at meetings across the country.

I am proud to be a member of professional organizations, including the American Society of Colon and Rectal Surgeons and the American College of Surgeons. I also serve on committees focused on cancer care, pelvic floor disorders and quality improvement.
