About me
Originally from South Georgia, I earned dual bachelor’s degrees in chemistry and Spanish from Georgia Southern University. I went on to receive my medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia.
I currently hold a faculty position as a clinical assistant professor in the University of Florida Aging, Behavioral and Cognitive Neurology Division and the UF Division of Epilepsy. I am a board-certified neurologist with clinical interests in behavioral neurology, epilepsy and neurophysiology. I completed a neurology residency at the University of South Alabama, followed by fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology/EEG at Duke University and an additional fellowship in behavioral neurology at UF.
Driven by a deep curiosity about the human condition, I find neurology to be a meaningful and rewarding field through which I can make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by neurological disorders.
Outside of medicine, you can usually find me reading, traveling, birdwatching, hiking and exploring the outdoors.
