My bio

Dr. John Dunning is a cardiothoracic surgeon with decades of experience. He has treated patients and educated physicians all around the world. Throughout his career, he has performed some of the most complex heart-lung transplants, as well as routine cardiothoracic procedures.

Outside of the operating room, Dr. Dunning has served as a reviewer for numerous medical publications, vetting the latest research before it is published. He has authored many studies and pioneered cardiothoracic surgery techniques used routinely today.

Dr. Dunning earned his medical degree from the University of Manchester in Manchester, England, and completed his residency at Royal Papworth Hospital in Cambridge, England.
