About me

Hello, my name is Johnny F. Jaber, DO, MPH, and I am an assistant professor in the University of Florida Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care & Sleep Medicine. Currently, I am practicing pulmonary and critical care medicine at UF Health, with my clinical focuses being: sarcoidosis, other granulomatous lung diseases and interstitial lung disease.

I received my Bachelor of Science in neurobiology, physiology, and behavior at the University of California Davis. I then pursued my Master of Public Health at UC Davis School of Medicine in Sacramento. I completed my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine at the Campbell University School of Osteopathic Medicine at Buies Creek, North Carolina, graduating as magna cum laude. Finally, I completed both my internal medicine residency and my pulmonary and critical care fellowship at UF.

I am a member of the American College of Chest Physicians and American Thoracic Society. In addition, I am an active member of the Foundation for Sarcoidosis Research.

I am board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine and pulmonary medicine, and board eligible in critical care medicine. My current research interests are specifically with interstitial lung diseases and sarcoidosis. I am also active with both my clinical and pharmaceutical research and involved in clinical trials.
