My bio
My name is Josh Barabas, PT, MPT, and I am a physical therapist at UF Health Rehab -- OSMI. I completed a master of physical therapy from the University of Florida and orthopaedic residency at UF Rehab OSMI. Physical therapy combines my interest in science and health to help people meet their goals.
My clinical interests include running-related injuries, strength-sport athletes and lower extremity injuries. I also have research interests in exercise science. My goal for each patient is to understand their experience and what brought them here, then to subsequently form a cooperative plan that increases their independence by way of their own actions.
In my free time, I enjoy powerlifting, and freshwater and saltwater fishing, as well as spending time with my wife and two daughters.
