Cancer Specialist (Oncologist), Radiation Oncologist
As a dedicated physician with over 35 years of experience, my goal is to improve my patients' chances of surviving their cancer and educating the public about the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer. I pursued a career in medicine because it allows me to combine my love of science with my desire to help others.
I received my medical degree in 1986 from the Howard University College of Medicine in Washington, D.C., followed by a residency in radiation oncology at the Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, which I completed in 1990. I am board-certified in radiation oncology by the American Board of Radiology. Additionally, I am a member of numerous medical societies, including the American Medical Association, the American Society for Radiation Oncology, the American Society of Clinical Oncology and the Florida Society of Clinical Oncology, to name a few.
When I am not providing patient care, I enjoy listening to jazz music, attending concerts and even jazz cruises.
