My bio
Hi, my name is Julie M. Quintrall, and I am a physician assistant in the University of Florida Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Some of my clinical areas of interests include hand trauma, breast reconstruction surgery, facial trauma, and cleft lip and palate.
What inspired me to work in plastic and reconstructive surgery is its’ innovative approach to correct abnormalities caused by disease, trauma, birth defects and other causes. In a way, I am helping a patient by offering to improve their functionality, and quality of life, while possibly giving them more confidence. One thing I aim to accomplish in my role as a physician assistant is to become more knowledgeable in the management of plastic and reconstructive surgical care. My goal is to provide compassionate health care of the highest quality through effective communication and the development of individualized treatment plans for the best outcomes.
In my free time, I enjoy participating in dressage, a type of equestrian sport with similarities to ballet. This highest expression of horse training calls on the endless pursuit of perfection and the patience and innovation required to reach it.
