My bio

Hello! My name is Karoline Jameson, and I am a pediatric physician at UF Health.

My motivation to pursue medicine started when I was very young, as my mom and aunts were all nurses. From an early age, I watched them dedicate their lives to caring for others with compassion. Their commitment inspired me and helped ignite my interest in the medical field. Even prior to medical school, I loved learning anything and everything related to medicine because the complexity of the human body amazed me. I was particularly drawn to pediatrics. When I was faced with choosing a career path, I knew I wanted to treat children for the rest of my life.

I am originally from South Florida and moved to Gainesville after marriage. Prior to working at UF Health, I worked in private practice for over four years. I completed my education at Nova Southeastern University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Biology in May 2008 and Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine in May 2012. I am board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics, and I am devoted to providing quality, patient-centered care for my patients.

As a pediatric physician, it is rewarding to watch children’s health and growth progress. My priority is providing optimal healthcare and treating each patient as I would my own family. It has been an honor and privilege to care for children and their families, and to serve my community.

Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, working on art projects and spending time with family and friends. I am also a foodie at heart and love to try new recipes and foods!
