About me
I'm Kelly Tusha, and I am a pelvic health physical therapist at UF Health Ocala Neighborhood Hospital. I earned my Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the University of Florida and completed my women's health physical therapy residency at Brooks Rehabilitation.
My expertise includes treating conditions such as urinary and bowel dysfunction, pelvic pain, pregnancy and postpartum issues, pelvic organ prolapse, and more. My journey into pelvic health began while working in the NICU, where I also cared for women experiencing pain and challenges during pregnancy and postpartum. With encouragement from my husband, also a physical therapist, and my father, an OB-GYN, I pursued a women’s health/pelvic health residency to meet the critical need for care and education throughout women’s lives.
My goals are threefold: to provide top-quality, patient-centered care that combines clinical expertise with evidence-based practices; to train and mentor new pelvic health therapists to meet rising demand; and to advocate for better access to pelvic health services, hoping for a future where postpartum care includes automatic, insurance-covered pelvic health visits. I strive to make treatment understandable and personally connect with my patients to foster comfort and trust.
My family—my husband and our two children—are my greatest joy. We love exploring science centers, parks, and traveling together. As a former competitive swimmer, I also enjoy the pool and staying active. I’m fluent in English, conversational in French, and have basic proficiency in Albanian.
