My bio

My name is Kelyn Sckrabulis, and I am a licensed occupational therapist at UF Pediatric Rehab Center. I earned my doctor of occupational therapy from Western Michigan University. I specialize in working with children with sensory integration disorders, developmental delays, fine motor difficulties, ADL/IADL challenges and executive function difficulties.

My passion for occupational therapy was sparked by a personal experience—after my grandmother was diagnosed with macular degeneration, an occupational therapist modified her home so she could continue enjoying her favorite activities, like cooking and reading. Seeing firsthand how occupational therapy can transform lives inspired me to pursue this career. I believe in working collaboratively with my patients and their families to help them achieve their goals, increase engagement and instill confidence and joy in their daily activities.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my husband—we love hiking, kayaking, and snorkeling. I also enjoy playing board and video games with family and friends. My husband and I use our love of gaming to support our local Children's Miracle Network hospital through Extra Life, an organization that allows us to give back to our community in a meaningful way.

I absolutely love my job and look forward to getting to know each child I work with!
