My bio
Hello, I'm Krissa Gorman, a physical therapist at UF Health. My journey in the field of rehabilitation began at the University of Florida, where I earned my doctorate of physical therapy. Prior to that, I earned a bachelor of science in dietetics from the University of Florida.
My specialization lies in addressing a variety of orthopaedic conditions, including sports injuries, post-operative knee procedures such as ACL reconstruction, MPFL reconstruction, MCL reconstruction, meniscectomy/meniscal repair, ankle sprains/injuries, low back pain, and shoulder pain/injuries.
As a physical therapist, my overarching goal is to guide patients on their journey to recovery, enhancing their performance not only in sports but also in daily life activities and work. I believe in promoting movement and exercise as integral components of a healthy lifestyle, providing patients with the tools they need to effectively manage pain and improve their overall well-being. Outside of my professional endeavors, I enjoy basketball, reading and participating in local club team activities like kickball.
As a Gainesville native, I am deeply connected to the local community. I am committed to utilizing my expertise to help others overcome obstacles, reach their full potential, and lead healthier, more active lives.
