Laura S Mundorf, MS, CCC-SLP : Bio and credentials

Hello, I'm Laura Shiver Mundorf, a speech-language pathologist at UF Health.

My educational journey began with a bachelor's in communication science and disorders from Bridgewater State College, followed by a master's in communication science and disorders from Florida State University. I hold the esteemed designation of certificate of clinical competence in speech-language pathology from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and am licensed by the Florida Department of Health.

With a focus on supporting children with cochlear implants and/or hearing aids, my expertise lies in utilizing listening and spoken language strategies. My goal is to facilitate language development and help my young patients achieve functional communication with family, friends, and all communication partners. Throughout my career, I've been dedicated to the unique needs of children with hearing impairment.
