My bio

My name is Ludo De Wolf, PT. I am a physical therapist and the proud site manager to a great team of rehab clinicians at the UF Health Adult Rehab Center -- Magnolia Park. I’ve been a practicing clinician in the state of Florida since 1989 with a clinical interest in orthopedics. As an avid sports enthusiast, I have always been fascinated with analyzing how our body moves, how it can compensate, break down and recover with proper coaching.

As a physical therapist, we have the luxury to spend more time with our patients than other clinicians. There’s an old saying, “If you listen to your patient, they will tell you where their problem is. If you keep listening, they will tell you how to fix it.”

I truly enjoy trying to find out why patients hurt in a specific area. Often the cause of the problem is found in other parts of the body not doing their job, in overuse, faulty body mechanics or movement patterns.

I received my bachelor of science degree in physical therapy from the University of Leuven in Belgium and an advanced master degree in orthopedic physical therapy from the University Florida.

In my free time, I enjoy playing tennis and pickle ball, as well as cycling off-road. I love the outdoors. Additionally, I closely follow the English Premier Soccer League.
