My bio

My name is Dr. Mamta Singh, and I am a board-certified family medicine physician with extensive training and experience caring for patients of all ages, from children to older adults. My practice focuses on comprehensive primary care, including preventive health, women’s health, dermatology and minor surgical procedures.

I earned my medical degree from Patna Medical College Hospital in India and completed my family medicine residency at MetroHealth Medical Center, Case Western Reserve University, in Cleveland, Ohio. I also completed a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation.

Before joining UF Health, I served as an attending physician at the VA Medical Center in Gainesville and owned Gainesville Family HealthCare, a family medicine practice that also served as a training site for UF family medicine residents. Throughout my career, I have practiced medicine in the United States, the United Kingdom and India, and I have published and presented research in reproductive health . I am board-certified in family practice, with recertifications in 2003, 2014 and 2024, and I am a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians.
