My bio
My name is Michael Franklin, DO, and I joined the Department of Anesthesiology as an assistant professor in the Division of Cardiothoracic Anesthesia. I earned my medical degree from Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my anesthesiology residency at LSU Health Shreveport. I completed my Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology fellowship here at the University of Florida. I’m currently the program director of the department’s Cardiothoracic Anesthesiology Fellowship.
In my free time, I enjoy bicycling, SCUBA diving, and CrossFit. I also love dogs and have two Australian Shepherds.
