About me
Hello my name is Mohammad Abdelrahman Aladaileh, MBBS, MRCSI, EBCTS, FRCS C-Th, and I am a lung transplant surgeon and an assistant professor in the University of Florida Department of Surgery and Surgical director of adult ECMO. My clinical interests lie in thoracic surgery, with specialized expertise in lung transplantation and Extracorporeal Membrane Oxygenation (ECMO) procedures.
I earned my medical degree from Mutah University in Al-Karak, Jordan, and completed my residency in general surgery at Jordan University Hospital. I attained Jordanian board certification and high specialization in general surgery from the University of Jordan. Afterwards, I moved to Ireland where I pursued advanced training in cardiothoracic surgery, earning my FRCSI C-Th from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and completing the European Board of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Additionally, I hold a master’s degree in Healthcare Leadership from the University of Cork, reflecting his commitment to medical excellence and leadership in healthcare. I furthered my expertise through a clinical fellowship in lung transplant and thoracic surgery at Toronto General Hospital. My clinical proficiency spans a comprehensive array of procedures, including lung transplant surgery, ECMO, lung cancer surgery, pleural disease management, airway surgery, chest wall surgery and minimal invasive thoracic surgery.
With over a decade of experience in thoracic surgery, I have served in various roles, including consultant thoracic and lung transplant surgeon at The Mater Misericordiae University Hospital in Dublin, Ireland. My patient philosophy emphasizes compassionate care, continuous innovation, and enhancing my patients’ quality of life.
In my free time, I enjoy outdoor activities such as hiking, biking, and swimming, as well as spending time with my family. These personal interests complement my dedication to respiratory health and patient well-being, fostering strong connections with my patients based on trust and understanding.
