My bio

I was drawn to hematology-oncology for its rich creativity and rapidly evolving science. After receiving my medical degree in 2016 from King Edward Medical University in Lahore, Pakistan, I completed a residency in internal medicine at the John H. Stroger, Jr. Hospital in Chicago. I then completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at the University of Buffalo’s Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center.

The continuous advancements in cancer treatment not only make the field exciting but also allow me to provide meaningful care for my patients. Caring for patients is a profound privilege, and my goal is to help develop treatments that not only aim to cure cancer but also preserve and enhance patients’ quality of life. I believe effective care should support patients in living fully, with dignity, purpose and as few side effects as possible. I want every future patient to know that I will always prioritize their well-being as if they were my own family. I will advocate for the safest, most effective treatments while ensuring they feel heard, respected and fully informed.

In my free time, I enjoy connecting with my family, reading and exploring outdoor parks and gardens. These activities provide balance in my life and foster personal growth.
